"One Truck & Many Hands". . .

In 1982 we stood among the stubble of a worn-out soybean field envisioning an area for rosy-cheeked families adventuring to cut their perfect Christmas tree . . . Dream on we were told! And dream we did . . . Springs and falls since, donned in our oldest overalls, boots, hats, gloves - - we planted trees . . . all by hand . . . us and our lone Ford pick-up truck dwarfed among the 290 acres. Recruited family joined in, becoming an expert while forming an imaginary Tree Farm union, telling stories of nonsense to pass the hours and planting thousands of trees! A decade later our dream route included the construction of our traditional Log Cabin Christmas Shop hand-scribed in the old Norwegian notched method . . . Today, we strive to preserve our woodland heritage mixed with Holiday Joy as a legacy to our, and your childrens' generation and as memories to savor all year long . .
